Bone health is not just a category for older individuals. Your risk of developing many bone related conditions when you’re older, depends on the lifestyle you follow when you are young. By eating the right foods and exercising regularly, you may be able to decrease your risk of bone-related conditions. When you’re young, your body makes new bone faster than it breaks down old bone. But at around age 30, you reach peak bone mass. After that, it becomes harder for your body to regrow bone. It’s never too early or late to learn about your bone health, including the important vitamins and minerals needed for proper utilization in your bones.
