Allie Might, FMC, INHC, ATT: [00:00:41] Welcome to the InViteⓇ Health Podcast where today we will discuss multivitamins. I’m Allie Might, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and Functional Medicine Coach here to help you navigate which multivitamin is right for you. When it comes to multivitamins there’s so many options to choose from and here it InViteⓇ Health is no difference. So how do we choose? † [00:01:03]
[00:01:04] Let’s start with the children’s multi. Our kids multi is a packet with two great flavored chewable tablets. These have the essential vitamins and minerals necessary for children ages 4 to 12. This multiple will start your kids off on the right track for a healthy life. So what does a good multi to graduate to next. The daily multivitamin with grape seed extract is a basic multi that contains the absolute most essential ingredients, including B vitamins, vitamin C, and calcium. We’ve also added 25 milligrams of grape seed extract, which is a super antioxidant to help protect our cells. This is a multivitamin that I typically recommend to teens as it’s not a kids multi but not as complex as a typical multi for adults. This is also nice because all you need to take is one tablet a day. I’ve realized that a common question regarding multivitamins is this, do you have a liquid multi? While we don’t have a liquid multi, we offer a great option from Dr. Pressman called multi energy powder. This is a complete multivitamin and an easy to use powder. Adding one scoop to a glass of water is a perfect option for those of us that may not like to swallow pills. † [00:02:24]

[00:02:25] And finally, our bread and butter of our extensive multivitamin options. These include the core, the men’s, the women’s and the performance and are the main go too when adding a multi. These all come in easy to take packets, so we’ve already taken the guesswork out of what to take each day. Let’s start with the core multi, which is also the base for the men’s, women’s, and performance. This multi is a comprehensive formula to includes essential vitamins such as vitamin C, vitamin D, and a methylated B 50 complex, minerals such as zinc, calcium, magnesium, and potassium, and antioxidants like vitamins A and E. Each daily packet contains two tablets and a capsule and is a good option for adults looking to add a multivitamin into their daily health routine. † [00:03:20]
[00:03:21] Next is our men’s multi, we added some important ingredients to our core formula to help support the needs of men. The additional herbs address such issues as heart health, the prostate and libido. Each packet contains two tablets and three capsules and is a great option for men ages 40 and over. We also created a multi with the needs of women in mind using the core multi as the base. The additional formula helps to address inflammation as well as support connective tissues and healthy breast tissues. A small amount of iron is also part of this formula, making it an ideal choice for any woman still experiencing menses. This multi also contains two tablets and three capsules per packet. While InViteⓇ doesn’t make a prenatal multivitamin. No conversation about women’s multi’s would be complete without discussing prenatal. A prenatal is important for both the mother as well as the developing fetus. All pregnant women and women actively trying to conceive should be on a prenatal multivitamin. Speak to your obgyn or a qualified health professional for recommendations. † [00:04:30]

[00:04:32] Last but not least, is the performance multi. This was designed to help increase energy and to protect ourselves from oxidative stress in damage. This is great for any adult who needs extra daily energy or those who lead an active lifestyle. Each packet contains two tablets and two capsules.
