There should be no regrets making this for your kids for breakfast with the added benefit of using the Whey Protein Isolate powder. †

The Whey Protein Isolate powder is great for supporting lean muscle mass and muscle protein. As kids age we want to ensure they are getting proper nutrition and protein to support muscle growth. This is providing us with essential proteins derived from whey, which is a liquid substance natural byproduct of cheese production. Essentially the amino acids are separated from the dairy products so all the fat and lactose is removed which is helpful for lactose intolerance individuals. Whey Protein Powder has also helped to improve satiation, or the feeling of fullness, when taken after a meal.†

Ingredients

Smoothie Base: 

½ cup Bananas, frozen

½ cup Blueberries, frozen

1 Scoop Whey Protein Isolates Powder

½ cup Kefir

 

Add-ins To Make It A Complete Breakfast: 

2 Tablespoons Nut Butter (peanut, almond, cashew, or sun butter)

1/2 cup Milk, Kefir, or Nut milk (almond, cashew, oat, or coconut) – instead of the water

1/2 cup Yogurt (Greek, plain unsweetened)

Steps To Making The Perfect Blueberry Blues Smoothie

  • Pour all the ingredients into a blender or Vitamix and blend together until smooth and creamy.
