Allie Might, INHC, AADP, ATT: [00:00:41] Welcome to the InViteⓇ Health podcast, where today we will explore the question, is my cup of green tea all I need? This is Allie Might, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and functional medicine coach here to navigate you through all the green tea options available.† [00:00:56]

[00:00:58] Green tea is something I think everyone has heard of and most people have probably tried. It’s also become a trendy food item over the past few years, showing up in such items as cakes, ice creams and fancy coffee drinks. While these may be tasty, the green tea is strictly for flavor and not for health benefits due to the added sugar and over processing. So what about the green tea that’s brewed, whether it’s a loose tea or in a tea bag? Well, it’s definitely a step up from the green tea flavored foods and drinks if it’s drank plain. However, it’s not nearly concentrated enough to supply all of the full benefits that green tea has to offer.† [00:01:43]

[00:01:45] So how does one know the best green tea to use? Well, here at InViteⓇ Health, we have three options to help you reach your goals. [00:02:22] Our original and my personal favorite green tea formula is the Green Tea TxⓇ. This comes in a concentrated liquid and has a nice lemon flavoring. There’s vitamin C in the formula, which gives you a little extra boost for the immune system. The EGCG, which is an important component of green tea, which has anti-inflammatory properties, making it beneficial for a wide range of issues such as but not limited to prostate issues, Digestive problems, Arthritis and weight loss. I happened to recommend the Green Tea TxⓇ as it is my favorite green tea. I find it to be easy to use as well as delicious. I recommend adding this to a smoothie, a glass of water, or even a cup of hot brewed tea, preferably green tea as well. I recommend using two dropper fulls of the Green Tea TxⓇ per day for general health and antioxidant benefits. However, if you are using this to help support weight loss, I recommend using four dropper fulls per day, preferably in water to help you get your water in each day, which is just an added bonus.† [00:03:42]

UPDATE: GREEN TEA AND THE FLU – INVITE HEALTH PODCAST, EPISODE 496 >> Listen Now!

[00:03:43] We also have Green Tea HxⓇ which comes in a capsule form. This encapsulated green tea has all the benefits of our liquid green tea, but with a slightly different formula. Instead of vitamin C, this product has black tea leaf extract added. A lot of research has been done on the benefits of black tea. These studies have shown that black tea supplies anti-cancer properties. I recommend this product to anyone looking to add a good antioxidant into their daily regimen. It’s also beneficial for heart health and a must for men to have added protection for the prostate. I recommend one capsule twice a day to get all of the benefits.† [00:04:30]

[00:04:32] InViteⓇ Health also has a line of supplements that we call Power Plant. These products are typically but not limited to use by those people that are more enthusiastic about a consistent and more vigorous workout or gym routine. While this line consists of protein powders, amino acids and testosterone boosters, it also includes a product we call Green Tea Fat Burner. In addition to the green tea benefits, this product also contains slendsta potato extract as well as 50 milligrams of caffeine. These additions aid the body to burn fat and calories, increase the metabolism and decrease appetite. I recommend taking one capsule twice a day before your two largest meals of the day.† [00:05:25]

[00:05:26] I hope this has been helpful in navigating the many green tea options available.
