No Bake Energy Protein Bites Recipe – Healthy & Helpful Tips with Melissa

No Bake Energy Protein Bites

Are you running out the door for a meeting, appointment, or getting your kids to the bus. These bites are a perfect way to get in a quick breakfast or a snack before lunch or dinner. They are only about 200 calories each protein ball so they are perfect if your looking to lose or maintain weight and need a snack in between meals.†

They are packed with high quality nutrient dense foods such as our whey protein isolate powder to enhance lean muscle mass. If your off to the gym and need an energy filled snack grab one of these protein bites. If you need something filling they have the organic flaxseed powder which provides omega-3 fatty acids which is rich in fiber to keep you feeling fuller longer. This may help if your looking to maintain your weight! †

Yields: 13 bites 

 

Ingredients For Protein Bites

1 ½ cups natural creamy peanut butter

½ cup honey

1 ⅓ cups old fashioned oats (rolled oats)

2 scoops Whey Protein Isolate Powder – Vanilla 

⅛ teaspoon salt

1 tsp cinnamon

½ cup mini dark chocolate chips

2 scoops Organic Flaxseed powder 

Steps To Making The Perfect Protein Bites

  • Add the creamy peanut butter, honey, rolled oats, whey protein, salt, and mini dark chocolate chips to a mixing bowl and use a rubber spatula to mix until the batter is combined
  • Use a mini cookie scoop or a spoon to drop energy balls with a spoon onto a wax paper covered cookie sheet. They should be around 1 inch in size.
  • Roll the energy balls with your hands to form the shape
  • Place cookie sheet with the energy bites on it in the fridge for 1 hour, or until the balls are hardened
  • Transfer energy balls to a Ziploc bag and store in the freeze

You can also add in nuts, coconut, or InViteⓇ  health’s chocolate whey protein isolate powder or Cocoa HxⓇ  for an added chocolatey flavor! †
